Meeting of the Nomisma.org Iron Age Working Group funded by PROCOPEplus
We are delighted to announce that we have received funding for a meeting of the Working Group to be held in Orléans on 30-31 January 2024 from the Franco-German cooperation PROCOPEplus. The coodinators are S. Nieto-Pelletier (IRAMAT, UMR 7065 CNRS-univ. Orléans), K. Tolle (Goethe University Frankfurt, Big Data Lab) and D. Wigg-Wolf (German Archaeological Institute).

Hôtel Dupanloup, Orléans
The event follows a preliminary online meeting in October 2024, and will be held at the Centre International Universitaire pour la Recherche (Hôtel Dupanloup).
The long-term objective is the development of an internet portal for Celtic coins, Online Celtic Coinage, analogue to Online Coins of the Roman Empire (OCRE) (https://numismatics.org/ocre/). The immediate aim of the meeting is to set up the framework for the formation of a consortium for a funding application, in particular:
1. The membership of the consortium and the roles of the individual participants.
2. A flexible reference data model for the OCC portal and the core-controlled vocabulary.
3. The creation of a consortium to pursue an application for bi-national or European funding for a project to extend the portal.
